About Carrie
Carrie is, in a word, a genius (okay, so that was two words). She learned how to make decadent food in London, then she plied that trade across the globe for many years. When she started noticing her health decline, she ditched the terribly unhealthy foods, and opted for low-carb, keto foods, instead. And then she went to work. Her ability to construct your favorite foods, using keto ingredients, but keep them as delicious (or deliciouser) is nothing short of prodigious. Carrie has the superhuman ability of creating recipes that end up becoming all time favorite meals of the people who execute them (they also happen to be extremely easy to make). Carrie makes everyone feel like a rockstar in the kitchen.
But Carrie is more than just food, she's got a huge heart, bursting with the desire to help people take control of their health (and lives). She's been through it all, she's a survivor, and she's not going to rest until you are all indulging in the healthiest, most delectable food imaginable...with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Carrie wants to bring joy to the world, but more importantly, she wants to bring joy to you. And she does that through her wisdom, her compassion, and, of course, her incredibly delicious foods.
Carrie lives in Connecticut, where her shiny disposition matches the beautiful skies there. But, she also spends a lot of time on the road, frequently taking her brand of happiness as far as the highways and byways can take her. Her photographs are audience favorites in her social media feeds. Her house is filled with warm colors (but not a lot of blues) and her beloved cats. Mr. McHenry, Zebedee, and Daisy share the utilities, chores, and entertainment with Carrie, and they have their own army of fans. She's a favorite among cats, humans and tiny humans alike.
Carrie can often be found in the kitchen, surrounded by her four-legged friends, concocting, devising, developing, and figuring out how to make the impossible very possible (and affordable).
And we love her for it.
About Danny
Danny is a beast, and a gentleman, and quite possibly the result of an experiment to get sunshine wrapped into human form. He's a 220 lbs. mountain of meat, but if you talked to him without knowing what he looks like, you’d realize that 190 lbs. of that must be his brain. Danny knows stuff. Lots of stuff.
Danny is one of those endlessly effervescent, happy, kind, and positive people that reminds you of a Golden Lab puppy. We dare you to attempt to withstand his joie de vivre, without becoming infected with a lust for a deeper happiness in life. It might be his insatiable happiness and joy of life that powers his incredible feats of strength. Or it could be his decades of dedicated and disciplined work in the weight room. Danny's been an athlete his whole life, a stand-out running back in high school and in college, where he played in the Ivy League for Columbia University. He also earned his Master's Degree in Human Performance from the University of Florida. He then became the strength and conditioning coach for Virginia Commonwealth University, helping them into the prestigious NCAA tournament (and beating some bigger schools, along the way).
Danny, his wife Maura, and their ridiculously gorgeous sons – Desmond and Dean – live in Florida, where they eat, sleep, and breathe the KETO lifestyle. Danny and Maura are very serious – and unconventional – in raising their two tiny super humans.
Danny excitedly and relentlessly experiments with anything and everything that might help him think, grow, and become an ever more outstanding human being, including recently eating his way to 6.5% body fat with carnivore KETO.
With his boundless energy, and his incredible knowledge, Danny is a fantastic resource and cannot wait to start helping everyone get healthy, fit, and happy.
About Brian
Born in Germany, raised in Alabama (and a lot of other places), and now residing near Austin, Texas with his beautiful and sassy wife, Sherri, and their ballet-dancing daughter Bethany, Brian is 6 foot 2 inches of adorable, ketone-fueled awesomeness, along with a very large dose of Southern manners. He is also father to two grown men, and grandpa to 2 babies, despite not looking a day over 32. KETO will do that to you.
Brian holds a Bachelors in English and Philosophy, and a Masters in Computer Science, but don't be fooled: he is really a walking brain. He has interesting opinions on, and knows something about, pretty much everything worth knowing. He is a fiercely loyal Jack-of-all-trades with a servant-master mindset who works tirelessly to help those around him reach their goals. He’s a perfectionist, the best mentor you could ever ask for, and a comic book aficionado. He has a swoon-worthy smooth-jazz radio voice which, combined with his brain, make him one incredible podcaster and interviewer. Also, he’s on a quest to find Sasquatch.
Brian maintains a ridiculous schedule in order to keep all the wheels on the Ketovangelist bus, which is expanding and growing at an incredible rate, and encompasses the Ketovangelist, The Ketogenic Athlete, the Ketovangelist Kitchen, and Ketovangelist Unlimited websites and podcasts, the Ballistic KETO line of products, the Certified Ketogenic program, KETO Con, and the Ketovangelist Lifestyle and Performance Coaching programs – all designed to help as many people as possible learn about and gain the enormous benefits of living a ketogenic life.
Brian embarked on a ketogenic lifestyle so he could be an example to his son, Noah, who was struggling with epilepsy. In the process, he himself lost 60lbs and dramatically improved his lifelong depression.
More than anything, Brian has integrity up the yin-yang, refuses steadfastly to do anything just to get more likes, more sales, or more follows, makes no apology for his no-compromise mindset, and has a laser sharp focus on getting the best information there is to anyone seeking to improve their health and happiness. In summary, Brian is every sort of awesome you can think up. And then some.
